Writers’ Rooms

Something a little different to turn down the heat — in temperature and in politics. I enjoyed this tour given by writers of the rooms they write in. I recognized some of my own quirks. I have to block out the view in order to write. I make piles. My dining table is full of papers in a certain order (although only I know what it is),  and once I served dinner by putting a cloth on top of the papers instead of laboriously removing them. It was gratifying to see that one of the authors in this article had done the same thing.
